...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 1 PM EST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow and
mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and
ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Oswego
and Lewis counties. Greatest ice accumulations across the Tug Hill.
* WHEN...From 3
PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Wednesday. Snow will develop this afternoon
and continue tonight, then transition to a period of mixed precipitation
including freezing rain Wednesday morning before changing to rain Wednesday
afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan
on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the
evening commute today and the morning commute Wednesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS
ACTIONS...Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited
visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
