Open Seat on Town Board

Greig Town Board
The Town Board
has an open seat for Councilman on the Town Board. We are looking for the
proper person to appoint to this seat. Appointment is for the remaining two
years of the unexpired term. An election for the seat would follow at that
time. A requirement is that you live in the Township. We expect you to take
this seat with enthusiasm and accepting any tasks
assigned by the Supervisor and those required by the State of New York.
There is a training requirement of four hours per year, which is
accomplished with a one day seminar hosted by the
Tug Hill Commission in March. Regular meetings are scheduled for the third
Wednesday of each month at 6 PM. Occasionally there may be a special
meeting scheduled that fits with the availability
of the members. There is a payment made for your service.
