LOWVILLE/COPENHAGEN- Donald R. “Don”
Chase, 77, formerly of Valley View Courts and Woodbattle
Road, passed away late Thursday evening, November 30, 2023
at Lewis County Health System Residential Healthcare Facility.
A
funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 8, 2023 at Iseneker Funeral Home,
Inc. 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, NY 13367.
Burial will be in the family plot in St. Patrick’s Cemetery,
Harrisburg. A
calling hour will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday
December 8, 2023 prior to the funeral service, at
the funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made in Donald’s memory to United Church of Copenhagen, P.O. Box
238, Copenhagen, NY 13626.
He is survived by
a brother, Ralph E. Chase of Boonville; and
cousins. He is predeceased by a
sister, Carolyn A. Chase, and a brother David A, Chase.
Donald was born
on June 4, 1946 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late
Robert W. and Genevieve Arthur Chase.
He worked on the family farm and graduated from Copenhagen Central
School in 1966. Don worked for
Climax Manufacturing in Castorland and later in Lowville until his
retirement on June 6, 2008.
He was a member
of the United Church of Copenhagen.
Don enjoyed traveling, taking walks and
watching television.
