There will be a
snowmobile safety course sponsored by the Turin Ridge Riders Snowmobile club
“Highest Club on Tug Hill” Saturday November 25th at the Turin
Ridge Riders groomer barn 5187
Carpenter Rd Turin, NY 13473.
The course hours are from 8:30am
to 4:30pm with lunch
being provided by the club.

registration MUST be done on the New York Snowmobile Register-Ed

Children from age
10 - 13 must take this course to be allowed to operate a snowmobile on
lands upon which snowmobiling is allowed while accompanied by (within 500
feet of) a person who is at least 18 years of age.
Children from age
14 - 17 must take this course to be allowed to operate a snowmobile on
lands upon which snowmobiling is allowed without being accompanied by a
person who is at least 18 years of age.
A student must
have reached his or her 10th birthday on or before the day the
course ends in order to be eligible to receive a
snowmobile safety certificate. Parents-legal guardians MUST stay
the first 15 minutes so all paper work can be
filled out. Students need a pen and a highlighter.
