LACS to Present Newsies Jr. Middle School Musical
on October 26 and 27

 We are excited to
announce that this year’s middle school musical at Lowville Academy and
Central School will be NEWSIES Jr. The show will be presented in the LACS
Auditorium on October 26 and 27 at 7:00 pm.
The show consists of a wonderfully talented group of
6th, 7th and 8th grade students who have been rehearsing since the start of
the school year. The cast includes;
Donny Exford plays Jack Kelly, Wyatt Nicol is Crutchie, Ava Chang as Katherine Plumber,
Luke Vokey as Davey, Ryan Widrick as Les, Luke Fouse as Joseph Pulitzer,
Mabel Blauvelt plays Medda Larkin, Cally Shaw is Wiesel, Andrew Kilburn and
Henry Kleine play the Delancey Brothers, Emmie Gronowski, Madilynn Clark
and Brynn Krop sing and dance in the Bowery Brigade, Henry Kleine plays
Teddy Roosevelt and Sarah Elgallad is Pat. Other
roles include Cheryl Dening as Bunsen, Elynn Nichols as Darcy, Adele Andews plays Dorothy, Brailey Widrick is Hannah,
Michaela Ward is Snyder, Alyssa Grimes is Seitz, Aurora Dietrich is Donna,
and Mason Hellinger plays the Police Officer. Natalie Waugh, Mia Mashaw,
Amaya Spence, Hailey Lehman, Willow Lyndaker, Jadyn Bowen, Gabryella Works,
Chase Turck, Piper Thompson, Viola Krop, Brynn Beyer, and Addison Manning
are the Newsies.
Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students
and seniors.
Based on true events, Newsies tells the captivating story of a band of underdogs who
become unlikely heroes when they stand up to the most powerful men in New
York. It’s a rousing tale about fighting for what’s right... and staying
true to who you are. We hope that you can attend
this wonderful production on October 26 and 27!
