Port Leyden - Ray G. Capron,
72, of East Main St., Port Leyden, NY passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023 at Sunset Nursing and Rehab where he has been a
resident since April 25, 2023.
Ray was born on
October 1, 1950 to the late Garry and Iva (Frank)
Capron. In Ray's early years, he worked for the former N & M Seargent
Manufacturer in Boonville, NY, where they produced unfinished wooden
furniture.
In addition to
his parents, Ray was predeceased by his sister and brother-in -law
Harriette and Walter Moscicki, adopted brother Bruce Duvalo,
and two nephews Edward and Eric Moscicki.
Ray is survived
by his longtime companion Pauline Fox, a special niece and nephew, Gary and
Julie Moscicki as well as many other nieces and nephews.
A graveside
service for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in
Boonville. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home,
Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
can be made to the Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box #682, Lowville,
New York 13367.
