Lewis County Clerk and DMV Offices Closing Early on August
3 for Employee Appreciation Event

FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE
The Lewis County
Clerk’s Office and the Lewis County DMV will be closing at 3pm on Thursday
August 3, 2023, for an Employee Appreciation Event. This means that the
Lewis County DMV will stop accepting new customers between 2-2:15pm that
day and the Lewis County Clerk’s Office will stop accepting Pistol License
transactions at 2:30pm that day. This will give all staff adequate time to
finish end-of-day processes so they can arrive to
the event on time.
Please plan
accordingly for this slight change in our normal schedule, and sorry for
any inconvenience this could cause.
Both offices will
be open for regularly scheduled hours and business on Friday August 4,
2023.
