JCC to Hold Instant Admit Days August 7 Through

for Classes All In One Day, Aug. 7-11
Jefferson
Community College (JCC) will hold Instant Admit days
on August 7-11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During
Instant Admit, prospective students can complete their college application,
receive immediate admissions decisions, apply for financial aid, and
register for classes all in a single appointment. Students must bring their
high school transcript, and all official college transcripts in their
original sealed envelopes.
Full
(15-week) fall semester
classes and 8-week condensed early session classes begin August 28, 2023.
Classes are held on JCC’s campus, in four online formats, on Fort Drum and
at the Lewis County JCC Education Center.
Jefferson offers
more than 50 academic
programs. Degree programs for career and transfer, 1-year certificates,
and micro-credentials that can be completed in as-little-as
15-weeks. Three jointly registered programs with SUNY Potsdam are offered
in the areas of Business Administration, Childhood Education Birth-Grade 2,
and Childhood Education Birth-Grade 6. Jefferson awards credit for military
and business experience in its 18-month Business Administration program.
Furthermore, with some advance planning, students from Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES can
earn a Business degree in one year to supplement their trade skills with
business acumen. The College offers 14 National Junior College Athletic
Association (NJCAA)-sanctioned athletic teams including
e-sports. Additionally, JCC provides a state-of-the-art turf facility
(grand opening coming fall 2023) with digital scoreboard game statistics
and replay capabilities, extracurricular clubs and organizations, internships and the opportunity to live on campus.
