Historic 1826 Lowville Village Band summer
concert series continues Wednesday
On Wednesday,
July 26, at 7:00 PM, in Lowville Veterans Memorial Park- located behind the
Post Office, the historic Lowville Village Band returns to the Millard
Chamberlain Band Stand for the 3rd of several old-fashioned
band concerts. These concerts have been gracing the community with
recorded history back to 1826.
This concert will
feature "Arabian Dances", the
theme from the classic television show "Hawaii 5-0" and
"You're Welcome" from Moana. Marches to be performed include
"Burma Patrol" and "Flying Cadets". The concert will
conclude with a tribute to New York with the theme from "New York, New
York" and "God Bless America".
Everyone is
cordially invited to this free old-fashioned concert in the park. Bring a
chair, have a picnic, enjoy the playground and
open space for ball and frisbee, while enjoying the talents found in our
community. In case of thunderstorms or heavy rain the concert will be
cancelled and added to the August calendar.
