Veterans on July 14 and 15 with Benefit and Support Representatives Available
to Assist

Operation Support our Veterans
The Lowville American Legion to host their quarterly
Veterans’ benefits and support event
Lowville, NY- The Lowville
American Legion will host a Veterans Open House on Friday and Saturday,
July 14-15, from 10 am – 2 pm each day. Lunch will be provided.
If you have never
applied for VA benefits or wish to increase what you have, this is your
chance.
In attendance will
be representatives from the New York State Dept of Veteran Services,
Watertown Mobile Vet Center, Jefferson/Lewis County VA representatives,
Clear Path for Veterans, and the Joseph Dwyer Vet Peer Support Center.
The VA
representatives will be working specifically on enrolling and increasing
benefits for eligible Veterans. The Vet Center and Dwyer Center work
primarily on counseling services available for PTSD, depression, the
transition from the military, and numerous other counseling programs
