Political Novice Announces Candidacy for Lewis County
Board of Legislature's District 5
Vincent Nortz announces his candidacy for the District 5 seat on the Lewis County Board of Legislators
for the November election.
Mr. Nortz believes voters are looking for a choice this
election season. He will face the incumbent for the District
5 seat in the upcoming Republican Primary in June.
Vincent promises
to keep an open mind and be fiscally responsible to residents.
Mr. Nortz is a retiree from Kraft-Heinz in Lowville. He
worked more than 40 years at the plant. Mr. Nortz
was responsible for quality control, line production and was 3rd Shift
facilitator. He believes his lifelong skills for attention to detail,
hands-on experience and ability to find common
ground between management and employees will serve the district well.
Active in the
community, Mr. Nortz volunteered as a youth coach
for soccer and basketball. At the present time, Vincent is a NYS Football
Official and NYS Track and Field Official. He is an exempt member of the
Lowville Volunteer Fire Department, holding offices of vice president and
president. He also served on the Lewis County Cause and Origin Team.
Vincent is
currently employed by Tractor Supply. He has lived in the Village of
Lowville for 44 years and is married and has four children and two
grandchildren.
