Lloyd E. Brockert, Jr.

 

PORT LEYDEN- Lloyd E. Brockert, Jr., 59, of Moose River Road, Port Leyden passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at University Hospital in Syracuse, surrounded by his loved ones.

 

Lloyd is survived by his fiancé, Sonja Downing; four children, Jason (Carol) Brockert of Croghan, Eric Sowich, KerraAnn (Nick) Bruce of Watertown, and Megan (Cam) Downing of Seneca Falls; his siblings, Kim Brockert of Carthage; Jeff Weaver of Iowa; Scott Weaver of Boonville; an aunt, Theresa Rocker of Carthage; several nieces, nephews and cousins; He is predeceased by two brothers Craig Rocker and Ronald Brockert; and a sister, Susie Weaver.

 

Lloyd was born in Constableville, NY on August 17, 1963, a son of Lloyd E. and Phyllis Rocker Brockert, Sr.  He attended Remsen High School.  Following High School Lloyd worked on a horse ranch in Missouri and did home repairs.  He then returned to NY and was employed by Nirvana Spring Water in Boonville until his retirement.  A marriage to Sherri Rumbo ended in divorce and Sherri passed away. 

 

Calling hours will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc, Lowville.  Burial will be held privately by the family.
