...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5
PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM EDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy
lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches in
the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
produce areas of blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...The Eastern Lake
Ontario Region. Greatest accumulations across the Tug Hill region.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this
afternoon to 8 PM EDT Sunday. The most organized snow bands and heaviest
snow are expected tonight through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be
very difficult at times with snow covered roads and poor visibility.

ACTIONS...Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared
for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
