Village of Port Leyden to Hold Public Hearing March
20 on Proposed Sewer and Water Rate Increases

HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the
Village Board of the Village of Port Leyden shall conduct a public hearing
on Monday, March 20th, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Leyden
Justice Building located at 3514 Mechanic Street, Port Leyden, New York, to
consider an increase to its water and sewer rates. It is proposed that all categories of sewer
rates will increase by $25/quarter. It is proposed that the sewer rate
change shall be effective for the June 2023 sewer billing. It is also
proposed that all categories of water rates will increase by $25/quarter. It is proposed that the water rate change
shall be effective for the June 2023 water billing. These rate increases in sewer and water
rates shall apply to all categories including inside and outside users. All persons wishing to be heard on this
matter should be present at the place, time and
date aforestated or have submitted written
comments in advance. Any persons
requiring special accommodations in order to
attend or participate in such hearing should notify the Village Clerk three
(3) business days prior to the meeting.
