County Highway Superintendent Timothy Hunt:
"The Lewis
County Highway Department is urging motorists to drive with caution. Due to
the heavy rains and existing snowbanks, many roads have standing water and
ponding. This can lead to hydroplaning and loss of control. Please use
caution while traveling during this heavy rain event."
