Ballot Set for Village of Lowville’s March 21
Election for Mayor and Two Trustee Seats

Lowville, NY- With the
deadline to file paperwork with the Lewis County Board of Elections passed
as of 5 p.m. this afternoon, the ballot for the Village of Lowville’s March
21 election is now set.
Interested candidates
for the mayor and two trustees positions on the ballot this year were able
to begin collecting the 75 required petition signatures from village
residents on January 23. Potential candidates then had to file their
completed petition with the Board of Elections beginning on February 7
through today’s 5 p.m. filing deadline.
The following
candidates have submitted petitions and will be included on the March 21
ballot:
MAYOR
Joseph Beagle (incumbent)
Kae Young
TRUSTEE (VOTE FOR 2):
Tim Widrick (incumbent)
Tony Adsit
Current Trustee
Edward Murphy, whose seat is up for election this year, did not file a
candidate petition.
Voting will take
place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Lowville
Municipal Building located at 5535 Bostwick Street. Terms for the newly
elected officials begin April 1, 2023. All three positions are for four-year
terms.
