WHY:                   

 

The Snow Turkey Cardboard Sled Race is a fundraiser for the Meat Canner of Lewis County. We invite teams of four to create a cardboard sled to help raise money to feed people in need. Entry fee is $200 for a team of four. Youth groups, service clubs and other organizations are invited to participate. Prizes and 100% of the funds go to the MCC Meat Canner of Lewis County.

 

The Meat Canner of Lewis County is a community project that brings together people from across Lewis County to can meat that will be distributed to food pantries around the region (Lewis, Jefferson, and St. Lawrence Counties) and the world. The date for this year’s meat canner event is April 13 - 14, 2023.
