Historic Lowville Village Band to Present Free New
Year’s Concert on January 8th in Lowville

A New Year’s
Concert presented by Lowville Village Band
The Lowville
Village Band will present a community concert on Sunday, January 8th at
2:00 PM in the Lowville Academy auditorium. The concert is
free! It is fitting that we are performing a piece called “Snow
Day Celebration” as we had to cancel the original date due to the snow
storm of December 2022. The band will also perform a medley of
song from “The Polar Express” and “A Winter
Celebration”. Holiday fun favorites will also be played such as
“I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas”, “Grandma
Got Run Over By a Reindeer” and “Nuttin For
Christmas”. The concert will be a lot of fun for
all. Donations to go to the Food Pantry and Humane Society will
be accepted. Kick of 2023 with an old-fashioned live band concert featuring
the talents in our community keeping a tradition of music going since 1826!
