REGISTRATION OPEN AT JCC
Classes Start January 23, 2023
Prepare yourself
to learn more, earn more and be more in the New Year! Start by getting a quality
education from Jefferson Community College (JCC). Registration is open for
classes that begin January 23, 2023.
Create a flexible
schedule. JCC offers courses online in four or more formats, on campus and
at the Fort Drum Robert McEwen Education Center. Online formats include
working independently according to the course syllabus with no scheduled
virtual class meetings (traditional online), working semi-independent with
some virtual meetings (blended online), working with your professor and classmates
in a combination of online and on campus instruction (hybrid), working with
your professor and classmates in a virtual classroom that meets online on
specified days/times according to your class schedule (live online). This
is the best time to take college classes from Jefferson! Students can
easily build the most flexible course schedule ever while remaining
committed to family and work obligations.
Full semester
classes begin January 23, 2023; early session (8-week) classes begin
January 23, 2023 and wrap up by March 16, 2023;
and late session (8-week) classes begin March 20, 2023 and wrap up by May
16, 2023. Regardless of course modality, all options provide the same
amount of course material and meeting hours.
Adult learners
having an absence from JCC of three years or more may apply for an academic
fresh start. Childcare is available on JCC’s campus for youth ages 18
months up to 5 years of age. Jefferson’s Campus Care is a NYS licenses
facility through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and is
accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Financial aid may be used to pay for childcare fees.
Students
returning to JCC after a period of absence, and transfer students, should
contact Enrollment Services at 315-786-2347 as early as possible to begin
the free application process or visit www.sunyjefferson.edu/spring. Military
students should contact the JCC office on Fort Drum at 315-786-6566 to
apply for admission and register for classes. JCC current (fall 2022
semester continuing) students should register via MyJCC
online at www.sunyjefferson.edu.
Per SUNY (State
University of New York) policy, all students taking in-person classes or
coming on JCC’s campus to use facilities are required to be vaccinated
against COVID-19.
