October Ends as 6th Driest on Record for Lowville

Lowville, NY- Overall, Lowville
saw above average temperatures last month, while experiencing the sixth
driest October on record in terms of precipitation, according to weather
data compiled from the Northeast
Regional Climate Center (dating back to 1893).
October finished
with a mean average temperature (cumulative highs and lows) of 48.5 degrees
in Lowville, a full 1.4 degrees above the normal mean average temperature
for October in Lowville of 47.1 degrees. In terms of ranking, it was the 46th
warmest October on record. The warmest October on record for Lowville occurred
