Lewis County Health
System Welcomes Director of Facilities Management
LOWVILLE, NY─ Robert Fargo has
joined Lewis County Health System as Director of Facilities Management. Mr. Fargo oversees maintenance, security,
and health and safety at all health system facilities.
"We are
thrilled to welcome Robert to the team," stated Chief Executive Officer
Gerald R. Cayer.
"His 28 years of experience in health care construction,
maintenance, and plant operations will continue to advance our preventive
maintenance and infrastructure goals."
Mr. Fargo is a North
Country native and graduate of Sandy Creek Central School, Sandy Creek, New
York. He holds a degree in
electrical construction and maintenance from SUNY Canton, Canton, New York,
and maintains numerous health, safety, advanced security, and emergency preparedness
certifications.
Robert's career
began at BCCS, Inc., as a construction electrician. In 1998, he joined Samaritan Medical Center
in Watertown, New York, as a maintenance electrician, and in 2009 he was
promoted to Manager of Facility Maintenance.

exciting time to join the health system team as we move forward on the
capital project and continue to ensure a safe and modern environment for
our patients, residents, visitors, and staff," stated Robert Fargo,
LCHS Director of Facilities Management.
Mr. Fargo has
served as Head Coach for girls' varsity lacrosse at General Brown
Junior/Senior High School, Brownville, NY, and as Assistant Head Coach for
girls' varsity lacrosse at Watertown High School, Watertown, NY. Robert enjoys spending time with family
and is an avid Syracuse University football fan when not at work.
