October 21 to Petition for a Referendum on Resolution Abolishing Fire Department

NOTICE
Please take notice that on September 21,2022, the Village of
Copenhagen Board of Trustees passed a resolution to Abolish the Copenhagen
Volunteer Fire Department. Such Resolution is subject to permissive
referendum. Anyone wishing to file a
petition must do so within thirty (30) days upon the adoption of such Resolution
with the Village Clerk.
Resolution 30-2022-23
Trustee Stokely offered a motion for resolution to start the process
to abolish the Copenhagen Volunteer Fire Department, effective October 21, 2022,
subject to permissive referendum. Seconded by Trustee Vogt.
