South Lewis Health Center Welcomes Julia Waters, FNP-C

 

LOWVILLE, NY─ Lewis County Health System and South Lewis Health Center are pleased to announce Family Nurse Practitioner Julia Waters, FNP-C has joined the medical staff. She joins physicians John Leuenberger, D.O., M. Lynn Pisaniello, M.D., and F. Adam Seigers, M.D to provide a full range of primary health care services for the entire family at South Lewis Health Center, located on Route 12 in Lyons Falls. 

 

"Julia is energetic, compassionate, and highly motivated to provide access to quality health care for patients at the South Lewis Health Center," stated Sean Harney, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of Employed Practices at Lewis County Health System. 

 

Julia earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Nebraska Methodist College, Omaha, NE.  She completed her bachelor's in nursing at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN, and received her associate's in nursing from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. 

 

Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Julia worked in the nursing field for twenty-three years. Her extensive nursing experience includes staff RN in the Emergency Department (ED) at Parker Adventist, an affiliate of Centura Healthcare System, Parker, CO, staff nurse and charge nurse for several departments within the University of Colorado Health System, Aurora, CO, (Emergency services, interventional radiology, critical care, and ambulatory care environments).  She also worked as a charge nurse for the ED at Evanston Northwestern Health System, Evanston, IL, and a cardiac catheterization lab nurse at Rush North Shore, Skokie, IL.
