Village of Lowville Building and Business Owners are
Invited to Attend
Downtown Drinks & Dreams Event
LOWVILLE, NY – Naturally
Lewis in partnership with the Village of Lowville, Lewis County
Chamber of Commerce and Lewis County, is hosting a
free “Downtown Drinks & Dreams” networking event on Wednesday,
July 13, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at
the 1812 House. Downtown Drinks & Dreams is
an event for downtown Lowville business owners and
commercial building owners to network, discuss the future of Lowville and
prepare for the Village of Lowville’s 2022 NYS Downtown
Revitalization Initiative application.
The Village of
Lowville has submitted a NYS Downtown Revitalization
Initiative application for the past two rounds with hopes of securing
the $10 million award for downtown Lowville
revitalization. As Lowville anticipates the launch of
the sixth round of New York State’s Downtown Revitalization
Initiative later this year, the Downtown Drinks &
Dreams event is all about idea generation and
information gathering. We are asking downtown Lowville, “What would
you do to your business or building with $1 million?” The
goal is to get feedback from businesses and building owners to submit
a well-rounded application this fall.
“Although we are
anticipating the announcement for the DRI grant competition, we are
also welcoming business and building owners to learn more about our local
economic development programs like DBA Lewis County, Façade and
Streetscape Improvement Program and Vacant Property Revitalization
Program available to Lewis County businesses,” said Brittany
Davis, Executive Director of Lewis County IDA.
Naturally Lewis
invites all Village of Lowville business and commercial building
owners to join the conversation on July 13th. The 1812 House is
graciously hosting the event on their beautiful outdoor patio on State
Street across from Lowville Academy, with drinks and appetizers provided by
Naturally Lewis & the Lewis County Chamber of
Commerce. Please pre-register to attend online at www.naturallylewis.com/events,
email kaylee@naturallylewis.com or call
315-376-3014.
