State Labor Department Releases Preliminary
Unemployment Data for June

The New York
State Department of Labor released preliminary unemployment data for June this
afternoon. Lewis County’s June unemployment rate was 3.2 percent, down from
last year’s rate of 4.7 percent for June. New York State’s seasonally adjusted
unemployment rate for June 2022 was 4.4 percent. The full press
