PHOTO: Village of Lowville DPW Receives Unexpected
Assistance While Working at Veterans Memorial Park

SUBMITTED PHOTO: The Village of
Lowville DPW crew received some unexpected assistance while working on
trimming the trees at Veterans Memorial Park on Wednesday. A group of boys
from Hand in Hand Early Childhood Center intently watched with interest
from the playground as the crew performed their duties. As the crew was
finishing up and loading the branches and debris onto the truck, the group
approached and asked if they could help put some of the branches on the
truck. The crew obliged, while taking a moment to explain what they were
doing. DPW Superintendent Paul Denise tells us it was truly a great experience
for both the crew and the group that assisted!
