PUBLIC NOTICE:
The Town of West
Turin adopted Local Law No. 3-2022 “A Local Law to Move Grievance Day to
the Tuesday Following the Fourth Tuesday in May” at the special public
hearing meeting on May 18, 2022. Therefore,
notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Review will meet on May
31, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Constableville Fire Hall, 3059 Main St, Constableville, NY 13325 in said town, to hear and
examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any
persons believing him/herself to be aggrieved. Please note this is a change in date from
May 24, 2022. Hearing of
complaints will be held May 31, 2022.
A copy of the Tentative
Assessment Roll for the current year is available at the Town Clerk’s
Office, 6805 McAlpine St, Ste 7, Lyons Falls, NY 13368 where is may be seen and examined by any interested person
until Grievance Day. (Application for filing a complaint and instructional
booklets are available from your Town Assessor, Town Clerk, or the Lewis
County Real Property Tax Service Agency.)
