Over 700 National Grid Customers in Lewis County
Remain Without Power Wednesday Morning

A number of locations in the county are still experiencing power outages
following Monday night’s wind gusts and the heavy, wet snow that fell overnight Monday and throughout the day on Tuesday.
As of 8:45 this
morning, National Grid
shows 721 customers without power in Lewis County. This
includes the following breakdown by township: Croghan- 42; Greig- 151;
Lewis- 29; Leyden-51; Lyonsdale-13; Osceola- 117; Watson- 285; West Turin-
18.
Some locations
have been without power since Monday evening. Estimated restoration times
vary by location, but the largest outage that is impacting customers in the
towns of Greig and Watson has an estimated restoration time of 11:30 p.m.
