PRESS RELEASE
On February 11,
2022, SP Watertown BCI arrested Scott E. Cooley, age 51, from
Lowville, NY for Rape 1st ( B
Felony - 3 Counts), Criminal Sex Act 1st (B Felony - 2 Counts),
and Sex Abuse 1st (D Felony - 9 Counts).
Cooley is alleged
to have engaged in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of
thirteen on several occasions in July 2014 throughout the town and village
of Lowville. Cooley was arraigned at the Town of West Turin Court (CAP
Court) and was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Lewis County
Correction Facility on $40,000 Cash Bail / $80,000 Bond.
