Lewis County Woman Claims Set For
Life Top Prize

Christina Merry
of Glenfield has claimed her $5,000 A Week For
Life prize on the New York Lottery’s Set For Life scratch-off game. The $10
instant game guarantees a minimum payout of $5,000,000.
Merry opted to
receive her prize as a single lump sum payment of $2,820,543 after required
withholdings.
“I’m going to pay
some bills and then, we’ll see,” said Merry upon claiming her prize.
The ticket was
purchased at Sliders Food Mart located at 6215 #4 Rd. in Lowville.
As of this
writing there were five additional top prizes still available on the Set
for Life ticket (Game #1472). Players may check the status of any New York
Lottery Scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
New York’s
scratch-off games generated $4,231,742,980 in total sales during fiscal
year 2020-2021. School districts in Lewis County received $7,114,678 in
Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same time
period.
