State Labor Department Releases Preliminary
Unemployment Data for December

The New York
State Department of Labor released preliminary unemployment data for December
this afternoon. Lewis County’s December unemployment rate was 3.7 percent,
down from last year’s rate of 6.1 percent for December. The full press
