Lewis County, NY COVID-19 Testing/Cases Updates

 

Lewis County Public Health confirms 71 new cases of COVID-19 since the last update on Friday, with 5 individuals hospitalized due to the virus. Starting today, Lewis County Public Health is no longer reporting recoveries, active cases (isolations), or the number of individuals in quarantine. In addition, the data breaking cases down by township will no longer be provided. This will be the last daily COVID-19 report from linkinglewiscounty.com. Going forward there will be a link available at the top of the headline section on our website to the Lewis County Public Health COVID-19 Data page, where you can view the latest data provided by Lewis County Public Health.

Lewis County, NY Vaccination Updates

 

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Update:

With an increasing plentiful supply of vaccine, Lewis County is changing the process to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Rather than signing up for the wait list on the county website, residents will now be able to look ahead to upcoming clinics and register themselves for an appointment.

PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE CLINIC, PLEASE NOTE:

  • PHOTO ID is required for all registrants.
  • Arrive at the vaccination site at the time of your appointment so that proper social distancing guidelines can be followed.  
  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  
  • Please wear a short sleeve shirt.  
  • If you have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, are currently in quarantine or isolation, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, you are not eligible to get the vaccine at this time, please register at a later time.

  • Check your local pharmacy’s website to see if vaccination appointments are available.
