Lewis County, NY COVID-19 Testing/Cases Updates

 

Lewis County Public Health confirms 86 new cases of COVID-19 since the last update yesterday, while reporting 70 additional recoveries. This brings the total active case count up to 312, with 12 Lewis County residents now hospitalized due to the virus and 374 residents currently under quarantine restrictions.

 

 *Note- Public Health is longer updating data for total number of tests performed, effective December 28, due to the increased prevalence of at-home testing kits. If you are testing at home and receive a positive test result you can report a positive at-home test result to Lewis County Public Health by calling 315-376-5453*

Lewis County, NY Vaccination Updates

 

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Update:

With an increasing plentiful supply of vaccine, Lewis County is changing the process to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Rather than signing up for the wait list on the county website, residents will now be able to look ahead to upcoming clinics and register themselves for an appointment.

  • PHOTO ID is required for all registrants.
  • Arrive at the vaccination site at the time of your appointment so that proper social distancing guidelines can be followed.  
  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  
  • Please wear a short sleeve shirt.  
  • If you have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, are currently in quarantine or isolation, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, you are not eligible to get the vaccine at this time, please register at a later time.
