Town of Lewis- A West Leyden man who was arrested on Saturday evening by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department, is facing additional charges now from the New York State Police. Troopers charged Michael P. Rauscher, 24, with one count of fourth-degree Criminal Mischief, a class "A" misdemeanor under NYS PL section 145.00 and one count of third-degree Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a class "A" misdemeanor under NYS PL section 165.05. The incident is still pending investigation. Mr. Rauscher, who is currently being held at the Lewis County Jail on $15,000 bail on the previous charges, was issued tickets to appear in the Town of Lewis court at a later date. |
