Town of Pitcairn- The New York State Police arrested a Harrisville man late
    Thursday night after a traffic stop on State Route 812 in the Town of Pitcairn.

    Donald W. Fowler, 20, was charged with seventh-degree Criminal Possession of
    a Controlled Substance, a class "A" misdemeanor under NYS PL section 220.03;
    Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation under NYS PL section 221.05, and
    No/Insufficient Tail Lamps an infraction under NYS VTL section  0375 -2A3. He
    was issued tickets to appear in the Town of Pitcairn court at a later date.

    A passenger in the vehicle, Austin R. Provost, 21, of Canton, was ticketed for
    Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
