Albany- A report issued by the Empire Center for Public Policy, via their website
seethroughny.net, shows how much public employees across the state earn. The
report, using data reported to the state retirement fund system from April 1st of
2014 through March 31st of 2015, does not include fringe benefits such as health
insurance and pension contributions, which can add up to 35 percent to the
    amount taxpayers pay public employees.

Below are links to the report, sorted for Lewis County employees, town
employees, and village employees. Lewis County is in a somewhat unique
position compared to other counties, with a public hospital accounting for most of
    the highest salaries.
