    Watertown- The Watertown Police Department arrested a Copenhagen man
    early this morning on Mechanic Street in the city.

    Nicholas P. Harmych, 34, was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated
    and Unsafe Start. Police reported his blood alcohol content was 0.23 percent,
    Mr. Harmych was issued tickets to appear in the City of Watertown court on
    October 26.

    Under state law a B.A.C. of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of
    intoxication. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is
    charged when the B.A.C is 0.18 percent or greater.
