Chittenango- The Copenhagen Varsity Girls Soccer team cruised to Section III Class "D" Semi-Final victory over Poland this evening at Chittenango High School. Copenhagen, the third seed, pulled off the 4-0 upset over second seed Poland behind three goals from Claire Stakel and another from Katie Best. With the fourth seed Cincinnatus defeating the top seed Sackets Harbor in the other "D" division semi-final tonight, Copenhagen will be the higher seed in the finals. The championship game will be played on Saturday, October 31 at 3 PM at Chittenango High School. Great job girls, good luck in the final! |
