Hospice Volunteer Training Begins August 22nd at LCGH

    Lowville, NY- A training course for anyone interested in becoming a Hospice
    Volunteer in Lewis County is set to start on Monday, at Lewis County General
    Hospital. The training will take place over a period of five days- Monday,
    August 22 through Wednesday, August 24, Monday, August 29 and Tuesday,
    August 30, running from 10 AM - 2 PM each day. It is required that you attend
    all five sessions in order to complete the training.

    There is no cost for the training, as it is funded by the Friends of Lewis County
    Hospice Board of Directors, To register, or for more information, call or e-mail

    Hospice Volunteers play a pivotal role in the program that provides comfort
