Lowville- The Lowville Lions Club is seeking help from the community and
local businesses as they prepare to start one of the largest community service
    projects they have ever undertaken.

The project involves the vacant four corners lot at the main intersection of
State Street and Dayan Street in the village. The property was the site of a
1999 fire and has been unoccupied since. The village took ownership of the
property in 2015 and has planned a parking area and green space.

The Lions Club plans to raise $60,000 for the purchase of a four-faced
pedestal clock tower, along with benches, planters and landscaping for the
green area portion of the project. The clock will feature four bronze plaques
    acknowledging major contributors.

Both individuals and businesses can donate to the project with a form included
at the end of the article. We will be featuring a block on our home page with
    weekly updates.

"We would also like to reach out to Lowville alumni who may no longer live in
the area but would like to donate to a legacy project beautifying their
hometown," Lowville Lions Club President Sheree Vora said.

Below is a letter from the Lowville Lions Club explaining the project as well as a
photo of the proposed clock and the printable form to submit a donation.
