Lowville- As officials continue their hunt for a buyer of the now closed Climax
    Packaging plant here, a Pennsylvania company has filed a lawsuit in New York
    State Supreme Court seeking $257,810.62 in unpaid invoices for materials
    provided to the plant.

    PaperWorks Industries, Inc., headquartered in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania,
    filed the suit on Wednesday with the Lewis County Clerk's office, alleging the
    company provided paper products to Climax for which it has not been payed.
    The lawsuit asks for payment in full of $257,810.62 in unpaid invoices, as well
    as  interest, costs and attorney fees incurred.

    According to documents filed with the court, the company claims to have
    shipped 15 shipments of material from its Napanee, Ontario plant, under the
    name of Strathcona Paper LP, from January 05, 2016 through February 02.
    Each shipment ranged in price from $15,069.33 to $17,608.88, totaling
    $244,599.74. An additional shipment from the company's Philadelphia plant
    from February 5th was invoiced at $13,210.88.
