Lowville- The Lowville Ice Rink at the Lewis County Fairgrounds has ended
    its free skate season a little earlier than expected. They had anticipated ending
    the season on the 19th of March, but with temperatures for this week forecast
    to be into the 50s, the ice simply will not hold, according to their release. The
    rink is now officially closed for the season. Village Mayor Donna Smith wishes
    to thank all of the volunteers that made a great season possible.
