Lowville- The following activity took place Friday in Lewis County Court on
    Friday:

    Sentencing:
    Timothy S. Pearce, 34, Binghamton, was sentenced to a five year probation
    term, time served in county jail, forfeiture of $8,990 in seized funds and $375 in
    court fees, after successfully completing interim probation conditions. Mr.
    Pearce pleaded guilty to the charge of fifth-degree Criminal Possession of a
    Controlled Substance on Nov. 14, 2014, after being accused of selling cocaine
    at the moe.down music festival in Turin during September of 2014.

    Pleas:
    Crystal G. Arnold, 34, Port Leyden, pleaded guilty to third-degree Unlawful
    Manufacture of Methamphetamine. Sentencing was scheduled for May 6. Ms.
    Arnold was accused of operating a meth lab on November 30th in the village of
    Port Leyden.

    Lucas M. Dafoe, 25, Port Leyden, was arraigned and pleaded guilty on a
    felony Driving While Intoxicated charge. His case was adjourned for one year
    pending completion of the county's Drug Court program. Mr. Dafoe was
    arrested on November 3rd on Boonville Road in the town of Lyonsdale.

    Arraignments:
    Andrew M. Ellis, 30, Lowville, was arraigned and pleaded not guilty on a
    charge of third-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. His case was
    adjourned until April 8th. Mr. Ellis was accused of possessing a 2015 Novai
    dump trailer belonging to another party on September 17th, in the town of West
    Turin.

    Adjournments:
    Daniel J. Conorino, 33, Lowville, had his case of three counts of first-degree
    Rape, two counts of first-degree Sexual Abuse and one count each of third-
    degree Rape and first-degree Criminal Sex Act adjourned until June 10th. A  
    possible trial date was set for September 12th. Judge Daniel King also set bail
    for Mr. Conorino at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. Mr. Conorino is accused of
    having sexual intercourse with a female victim under the age of 13 at a
    residence in Lowville during 2012.

    Alicia N. Babcock, 21, Croghan, had her case of felony Aggravated Driving
    While Intoxicated (under Leandra’s Law), Failure to Keep Right and Moving
    from Lane Unsafely adjourned until April 8th. Ms.Babcock was accused of
    driving while impaired by drugs with a child as a passenger on July 18th in the
    town of New Bremen.

    Ian J. Burke, 26, West Leyden, had his case of second-degree Criminal
    Possession of a Controlled Substance, second-degree Unlawful Possession of
    Methamphetamine, second-degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana,
    Unlawfully Growing Cannabis and Endangering the Welfare of a Child
    adjourned until April 8th. Mr. Burke was accused of making meth and growing
    marijuana in the presence of a child on September 29th in the town of Lewis.

    Jessica R. Kloster, 34, Carthage, had her case of second-degree Burglary
    and Attempted Petit Larceny adjourned until May 6th. Ms. Kloster was accused
    of breaking into a home in the town of Denmark and attempting to steal
    prescription drugs on July 11th.

    Christina L. Okusko, 19, Alder Creek, had her case of second-degree
    Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, second-degree Unlawful
    Possession of Methamphetamine, second-degree Criminal Possession of
    Marijuana, Unlawfully Growing of Cannabis and Endangering the Welfare of a
    Child adjourned until April 8th. Ms. Okusko was accused of making meth and
    growing marijuana in the presence of a child on September 29th in the town of
    Lewis.

    Michael M. Woods, 33, Copenhagen, had his case of second-degree Criminal
    Possession of a Controlled Substance, second- and third-degree Unlawful
    Manufacture of Methamphetamine, first-degree Reckless Endangerment and
    Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Laboratory Materials adjourned until
    March 25th. Mr. Woods was accused of operating a meth lab October 30th in
    the town of Denmark, in the presence of a child.

    Scott H. Farr, 44, Castorland, had sentencing set for April 8th on a charge of
    fourth-degree Criminal Mischief to which he pleaded guilty on December 18th.
    Mr. Farr was accused of damaging property on November 1st at a residence in
    the town of New Bremen.

    Cody J. Fox, 25, Port Leyden, had his case of third-degree Unlawful
    Manufacture of Methamphetamine adjourned until April 8th. Mr. Fox was
    accused of operating a meth lab on November 30th in the village of Port
    Leyden. Mr. Fox is also facing three counts each of third-degree Criminal Sale
    and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance after being accused of
    selling meth on three occasions in Port Leyden.

    Mark D. Schermerhorn, 39, of 3205 Church St., Port Leyden, had his case of
    third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine adjourned until April
    8th. Mr. Schermerhorn was accused of operating a meth lab on November 30th
    in the village of Port Leyden.
