Albany- The New York State Authorities Budget Office, the agency in charge of
    assisting Public Authorities improve management practices and procedures,
    recently conducted a review of the County of Lewis Industrial Development
    Agency's (LCIDA) website. Public Authorities such as an IDA are required to make
    specific information available to the public through the authorities website. The
    review shows areas that the LCIDA is in compliance as well as areas that need
    improvement.

    The LCIDA briefly discussed the report at their regular monthly meeting on
    Thursday. Executive Director Eric Virkler told the board that the new website,
    being developed by Coughlin Printing Group for the agency, will address most of
    the concerns. The agency hopes to have a preliminary review of the new website
    by the end of the month.
