Chittenango- Copenhagen was crowned the Section III Class D Champions in
    cheerleading here on Saturday.  The Golden Knights also had two all stars named
    as well: Alexis LaBarge and Cassandra Goutermout.

    Copenhagen received the third highest score of the day.  Cicero-North Syracuse
    (Class AA School) had the highest score and West Genesee (Class AA School)
    had the second highest score.  

    Copenhagen will advance to the NYSPHSAA's Cheerleading Championship next
    Saturday at OCC's SRC Arena.  This is the first NYSPHSAA Cheer Championship.
