Division Tournament quarterfinal game here on Friday evening against Cooperstown. The third seeded Beavers prevailed 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 31-29 over the sixth seeded Hawkeyes. Beaver River will now face an undefeated number two seed Herkimer team in a semifinal match on Tuesday. In another "C" Division quarterfinal, fourth seed Mount Markham proved to be too much for the fifth seed South Lewis. Mount Markham won 3-0 by scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 27-25. |
