Power Outages Caused by Saturday Night’s Windstorm Down to 76 Customers in Lewis County

Lewis County, NY- As of late Monday evening, the number of National Grid customers in the county without power is down to 76. Remaining outages as of 9 p.m. include 31 customers in the town of Croghan, 29 customers in the town of Watson and 16 customers in the town of Greig. Each remaining area has an estimated restoration time of 11 p.m. listed on the National Grid power outage map.

 

Nearly 6,800 National Grid customers in the county lost service during the peak of Saturday night’s windstorm. That number was down to 4,652 by 11 a.m. on Sunday and then to 2,542 at 7 p.m. on Sunday. At 9:30 this morning 1,305 customers were still without power.
