Lewis County Health
System Welcomes Stacey Walton FNP-C
LOWVILLE, NY─ Lewis County
Health System and Lewis County Family Practice are pleased to welcome
Family Nurse Practitioner Stacey Walton, FNP-C, to the medical staff. Stacey joins Monica Kwicklis,
MD, M. Lynn Pisaniello, MD, Shirley
Tuttle-Malone, DO, John Wat, DO, Elizabeth Bassity,
FNP-C, and Kathy Der, FNP-C. She
will see patients at Lewis County Family Practice, located on the main
hospital on the third floor of the Medical Arts Building in Lowville.
“Stacey Walton,
FNP-C, is a great addition to our Lewis County Family Practice group,”
stated Sean Harney, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Employed Medical Practices.
“Her diverse clinical and nursing experience and passion for health care
will be the perfect addition to our growing team.”
Stacey is
certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She earned her Master of Nursing and
Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in nursing from Utica College
and received her Associate of Science in nursing from St. Elizabeth College
of Nursing, Utica, N.Y. Stacey holds advanced certifications in basic,
advanced cardiac, and pediatric life support certifications and TNCC, ENPC,
NIH, and SAFE-NY.
Stacey comes to
the Lewis County Health System from St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica,
N.Y. Before becoming a Nurse
Practitioner, she worked in a variety of nursing settings, including
emergency department nurse manager, staff registered nurse, charge nurse
and preceptor, and a clinical nurse educator at St. Elizabeth’s Medical
Center. Stacey is also an adjunct Clinical Nurse Instructor at Utica
College and a past Adjunct Clinical Nurse Instructor at Mohawk Valley
Community College, both in Utica, N.Y.
She also represented the north country as Miss Lewis County 2006 in
the Miss New York Pageant.
Stacey is a
Boonville, N.Y. native, where she currently resides with her husband and
children. When not caring for her
patients, Stacey enjoys spending time with her close-knit family and
friends and tending to her hobby farm with the help of her two
daughters. She is also an avid
golfer and participates in a women’s golf league that connects her with
local women of all ages.
According to
Nurse Practitioner Walton, she is “looking forward to continuing her health
care career as a family nurse practitioner at LCHS and connecting with and
helping her patients achieve their highest level of health and
wellness.”
