REGISTRATION OPEN AT JCC
Spring 2022 Semester Classes start January 24, 2022
Registration is
open at Jefferson Community College (JCC). JCC offers flexible course
schedules with different start dates in a variety of learning formats.
JCC’s full semester classes begin January 24, 2022; early session (8-week)
classes begin January 24, 2022 and wrap up by
March 17, 2022; and late session (8-week) classes begin March 21, 2022 and
wrap up by May 17, 2022. Regardless of course modality, all options provide
the same amount of course material and meeting hours.
Classes are held
in a variety of online formats, on JCC’s campus, at the Fort Drum McEwen
Education Center and at the Lewis County JCC Education Center in Lowville.
This is the best time to take college classes from Jefferson! Students can
easily build the most flexible course schedule ever while remaining
committed to family and work obligations. Per SUNY (State University of New
York) policy, all students taking in-person classes or coming on JCC’s
campus to use facilities are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Adult learners having an absence from JCC of three years or more may apply
for an academic fresh start. With proof of NYS residency, students starting
college at JCC in January 2022 who anticipate living on-campus may be
eligible for a $1500 student housing scholarship.
Students returning
to JCC after a period of absence and transfer students should contact
Enrollment Services at 315-786-2347 as early as possible to begin the free
application process or visit www.sunyjefferson.edu/spring.
Military students should contact the JCC office on Fort Drum at
315-786-6566 to apply for admission and register for classes. JCC current
(fall 2021 semester continuing) students should register via MyJCC online at www.sunyjefferson.edu.
