Lewis County Court Activity Report for October 15, 2021

Lowville, NY- The following plea and sentencing activity took place on Friday morning in Lewis County Court, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding:

 

Mark A. Golden, 52, of Lyons Falls, pleaded guilty to one count of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Sentencing was adjourned to December 3, when Mr. Golden is expected to be placed under probation supervision for a 3-year term. Mr. Golden also must pay approximately $400 in restitution.

 

Jerrilee Hartle, Jr., 40, of Lowville, pleaded guilty to one count each of third-degree Assault and seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, both class A misdemeanors. Sentencing was adjourned to January 7, when Mr. Hartle is expected to receive a total of 1 ½ years in Lewis County Jail.

 

Christine Z. Lally, 68, of Glenfield, pleaded guilty to one count of felony Driving While Intoxicated, admitting to driving on the N. Chases Lakes Rd. after consuming alcohol on May 29, 2021. Ms. Lally was previously convicted for Driving While Intoxicated in the town of Watson in July of 2017, making the current charge a felony. Sentencing in the case was adjourned to December 3, when MS. Lally is expected to be placed on interim conditions of probation.

 

Ralph V. Roberts, 61, of Saranac Lake, pleaded guilty to one count of seventh-degree Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class B misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a 1-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay $250 in court fees.

 

Jay W. Virkler, 36, of Croghan, pleaded guilty to one count of Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. Sentencing in the case was adjourned to December 3, when Mr. Virkler is expected to be placed under probation supervision.
